About Twelvetia
Questions and Answers
Who is Twelvetia?
We are a small start-up and want to help shape the future of our home by producing and selling stylish clothing on demand. Each product supports an organisation of our choice. This organisation does not necessarily have to be in Switzerland. For more information visit our products.
"Do not let mother nature become a "once upon a time"."
What does Twelvetia mean?
Two words are derived from this play on words that are very close to our hearts: Twelve and Helvetia. We have been around since 2012 and we were born and raised in Helvetia (also Switzerland).
Which organisations are supported?
We are currently still looking for suitable clubs in Switzerland. As we are still at the very beginning of this exciting journey, we will be focussing on the Swiss market for the next few months. The associations are linked to the individual products under "Supporting organisation" with a short introductory text and the corresponding website.
The diversity in our support also reflects the diversity of challenges facing our world. Each problem requires a specific, knowledgeable approach, and by supporting experts in different fields, we maximise our contribution to global change. We recognise that the problems we face are complex and interconnected. Our aim is to take a comprehensive approach to solving these problems by supporting different organisations to make a lasting positive impact.

How does the donation work?
When you buy a Twelvetia product, part of the sales price automatically goes to the organisation we have selected. Depending on which country your product represents, the donation will also go directly to that country.
How can I return a product?
If you wish to make use of our right of cancellation, you can return the goods to Twelvetia within 30 days. In line with our sustainability strategy, we allow the customer to bear the return costs in order to minimise the return rate. The return address is in Switzerland. To receive the exact instructions for the return shipment, please contact us via the contact form or via the direct e-mail address info@twelvetia.ch.
Which products cannot be returned?
Underwear and swimwear cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene. Furthermore, special offers are excluded from the right of return.
How long does the dispatch take?
Shipping varies depending on the country of origin of the order. As we only produce on request, shipping generally takes a little longer. In general, dispatch takes 7-10 working days after receipt of the order.
Why does delivery take 7-14 days?
As we only produce on demand, i.e. a product is only manufactured when an order is placed, production and dispatch takes some time. With this approach, we want to put an end to overproduction and keep the resulting CO2 emissions to a minimum.
Why doesn't Twelvetia only plant trees?
Although the earth is struggling with CO2 emissions and trees bind them, among other things, the problem is not solved by planting trees alone. The blue planet and its inhabitants are increasingly living together with plastic in smaller areas. First and foremost, we want to protect the landscapes and their animals and create a safe environment without waste. This support also reduces CO2 emissions and protects the environment.
Many companies are currently focussing on planting trees by selling their own products. We would like to focus on other organisations that pursue a different approach - but the same goal. Here too, every helping hand is needed.
Through these measures, together we can create a healthier and safer environment for everyone.
